Sign into eBay to watch one of the highest auctions you’ll ever see, or just fork over half a billion with the Buy Now button. What’s the multi-million dollar product that’s causing a stir? The Hefley Engine.

The Hefley Engine can be made from 3 to 9 cylinders and output anywhere from 50 to 1500 horsepower. Not bad. Not only that, but it can be created to use a variety of fuel types or even used as a rotary engine. It’s creator, Carl Hefley, had this to say:

"I would really like to see Chrysler, General Motors, Ford or other United States automotive companies take advantage of this unique and totally green engine. But I’m concerned because so far foreign countries seem to be a little more anxious in the technology, American companies seems hesitant to improving their technology base unless they develop it. Foreign countries look to be ready for new technology."

What else makes this engine so amazing? It actually changes size, by changing its inward displacement in small increments to produce optimum efficiency. It also doesn’t turn off any cylinders to get better mileage, but with the inward size change creates the near perfect combustion ratio.

AutoCareInsurance.com’s Opinion:
It sounds ’super green’ and super awesome, but how has it been tested? What kind of gas mileage are we talking about? And where is my password to eBay so we can start bidding?!!
