Although the price of gasoline has recently been on the decline, it is still far more expensive than it was just a few years ago.  In addition, when the economy finally sees a rebound, we will likely see gas prices go up once more.  Therefore, you might want to start taking steps to monitor the fuel efficiency of your vehicle and make certain it is running as efficiently as possible.

To help you monitor the air and fuel efficiency of your vehicle so you can improve your gas mileage, JET Performance Products has announced the release of its new Air/Fuel Monitor.  This new monitor, which has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $249.95, is compatible with any vehicle that has an Oxygen Sensor.

With this monitor, you can view the air/fuel ratio in order to fine tune the vehicle.  You can also use the information you gain from the monitor to help you make fuel-efficient changes to your driving habits.  In all, the device offers eight different monitoring screens, which are made easy to read with the help of its backlit LCD screen.  Whether or not the cost is worthwhile is certainly a persona decision, but it is still an interesting little gizmo to have!
