Stealth.Com Inc has announced the release of a mini PC that was developed specifically to be used for in-vehicle/mobile/embedded applications.  The small  PC operates off of a 10-16VDC power and contains a number of interesting features.  According to a press release on the new computer, it offers all of the following features:

• · Start Up Delay Timer – Delays the turn-on time of the computer when the ignition is turned on in order to prevent false power starts.
• · Shut Down Delay Timer – Delays the shut down of the computer when the ignition is turned off so it can finish important tasks before powering down
• · Hardware Shutdown – Ensures the computer shuts down when the vehicle ignition is turned off so the computer does not drain the battery down

The Stealth mobile Little PC measures only 5.7″ wide by 9.9″ Deep by 1.65″ High. Despite being only the size of a hard cover novel, it contains Intel’s 2 Duo processor technology and a 2.5″ high-shock hard drive with up to 500GB of storage space.  It also has numerous ports, including LAN, 3-USB, 2-Serial, Video, FireWire, PS/2 Mouse, Audio and Keyboard. You can also purchase an optional Solid State Drive in order to make it better able to withstand wide temperature ranges, vibration and high shock.
