NADAguide Unveils Its “Top 5 Wagons” List

NADAguides.com has recently released its “top five wagons for 2009″ in a press release posted October 2.  According to the website the, the top 5 wagons include:

#5:  Mercedes-Benz E Class 6.3L AMG Wagon

The editors of the website say this vehicle provides “thrill-a-minute” driving.  Considering the vehicle costs over $86,000, it should certainly have something to offer - and that includes a 507 hp V8 engine tat offers 465 lb-ft torque.  It also features sport suspension, 7 paddle-shifted automatic transmission and optional seating for seven.

#4:  2009 BMW 5-Series Sport Wagon 535xi

The editors of NADAguides say this wagon is “every bit what a BMS should be,” as it includes a twin turbo-charged inline 6-cylinder engine and over 58 cubic feet of space.

#3:  2009 Saab 9-3 Aero AWD Wagon

The editors say the Saab is a “great looking wagon with a laundry list of standard equipment,” which includes a 2.0L turbocharged V6 engine that produces 280 hp.

#2:  2009 Volkswagon Jetta SportWagen 2.0L TDI

This diesel wagon gets an estimated 29 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway as well as a low sticker price of less than $25,000.  The editors say this wagon provides the “top-notch interior build quality of a traditional German car.”

#1:  2009 Mazda MAZSASPEED3 GT

This wagon was put at the top of the list because of its “fun and sporty” styling as well as its spacious interior.  It’s 4 cylinder engine produces 263 hp and also has a sticker price of less than $25,000, leaving the editors saying “Who knew hip and practical could exist under one roof?”
