2009 Green Car Winner in 2008?

LA Auto ShowThe 2009 Green Car of the Year will be announced in 2008, in November, at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Initiated in 2005 by the Green Car Journal, the award goes to the most innovative automobile in the Green class.

QUOTE—”The Green Car of the Year(R) award is designed to recognize environmental achievement in the automotive industry.”

The nominees are narrowed down to a skimpy 5 finalists, of which only one can be the Greenie of the Year in automotive genius. Some of the previous winners included the Chevy Tahoe Hybrid and the Toyota Camry Hybrid.
